Founded by producer and entrepreneur Heidi Lasi, the company is driven by a commitment to exceptional storytelling, diverse voices, and collaborative partnerships with both emerging and established talent. From scripted series and feature documentaries to unscripted and digital projects, Alchemy House develops work that balances commercial ambition with creative risk-taking. Heidi Lasi, Producer/President

Heidi Lasi is an entrepreneur, award-winning producer and writer, and the founder of Alchemy House Studio, an independent Canadian production company focused on distinctive, audience-driven storytelling across film, television, and digital media.

A strong collaborator and strategic producer, Heidi’s credits include the Bell Media BravoFACTUAL project The Oasis Affair, feature-length documentary Know Her Name now airing on Super Channel and Hollywood Suite, two seasons of the lifestyle/cooking series Grandma vs. Chef, and the scripted series Newish.

She champions original voices and ambitious stories, bringing projects from development through production and into the marketplace. Her current development slate includes scripted drama, comedy, documentary, and unscripted projects.

Heidi is a graduate of the WIFT+ Toronto / Schulich School of Business Media Leadership Program and sits on the Ottawa Film Office Advisory Committee. She is a member of the Canadian Media Producers Association and the Writers Guild of Canada.
